The beautiful blusher that gives a pop of colour but still looks like skin for only £15. What product is more perfect for 'no make up' make up days? This product was one of those 'I really want it but I can't get hold of it so now I inevitably want it more' but luckily I found it in the least expected of places - Topshop, Oxford Street. I had the option of two colours Acid (a bright pink) or Trip (an exotic orange). These I understand are the two most popular shades or at least the two most easily obtainable but that's perfectly fine with me as I personally love the shade I chose, Acid. It's pink, it's pretty and it's completely different to any other blush (or even product) I have ever tried before. When I first used this I was very hesitant about the application process. It's a pink coloured water, what on earth do I use? What motion works best? Do I need to set it? It turns out these questions are completely and utterly irrelevant as this is really very easy. According to your preference, you can apply the fluid with your fingers, a blush brush, a stippling brush or Daniel Sandler's very own Watercolour Brush. All of them work magic, which I feel is down to the blush itself. The liquid consistency is a dream to work with, to apply, to blend and to personalise to just how you like it. I just love how even though it appears bright and bold in the bottle, it really is a beautiful, sheer pink with a slight illuminating quality to it once applied. Plus there's an added bonus that you can also apply this to you lips as well. What's better then pretty rosy cheeks than the perfect pink pout? I really can not wait to try more shades from the collection, especially some of the more nude-pink shades as I can imagine these to be just beautiful.

Have you tried any of Daniel Sandler's products?

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months and have stayed shy of the Beauty world then you'll either know or need to know about the new website Cohorted, a brilliant concept of shopping as team. It doesn't get much better then that ladies. The basic idea of this is that you can request a large range of products that will eventually be available to buy. All you have to do is join the Cohort before the closing date and you get the product. That's not even the best bit though, the reason why I love this website so much is depending on how many different people join the Cohort the more discount you get. Yes, that's right. You could be getting products from both the high street to the high end for up to 44% of the original retail price. I've already grabbed myself a number of products of there, one being the MAC Crew High-Light Powder. 

I had never seen this product before I spotted it on the Cohorted website and after a bit of research I discovered it was from one of MAC's 2012 'Hey Sailor' Limited Edition Collection. If you're a cosmetic collector like myself, then this will give you a huge amount of thrills. I knew right away I needed it and paying just £14 for an original £25 product just seemed too good to be true. It's advertised as a highlight but once applied appears more as an illuminating rosy-pink blush. Still gorgeous all the same. The mix of purple, pink and peach stripes means the colour works well on various skin tones and creates the beautiful lit from within glow that a lot of us crave. The lasting time is excellent, a usual quality from MAC and the highlight-blush qualities means you're basically getting two products in one. Simple and sweet. I also love products with different shades within the pan as it means you can pretty much personalise your colour by picking up more of an individual hue. 

This is back on the Cohorted website now so if you want it, I suggest you get it right away as it's around for a limited time only!

What's this? A fashion post from Nails And Teapots? I believe this is only my second one which considering this blog is meant to be Beauty, Lifestyle and Fashion, that is pretty terrible. The main reason for this is that it's very easy to take a few snaps of a lipstick, edit and upload it with just two hands but trying to take a full body picture, without the use of the mirror, with decent focusing and not cutting of your own head (before cropping), proves to be slightly more difficult. Yet, lucky for me I'm away in Cornwall this week which means lovely looking backdrops and the help of Sam, my boyfriend, to take the photos and I think he did a pretty good job!

What are your favourite blogging photos to take? 

I think it's no surprise that YSL win when it comes to beautiful, luxurious packaging. I'm honestly like a dog to it's bone when it comes to the gold plated lipsticks with the stencilled logo over the shade teaser that just looks too pretty when on show in my cosmetic's storage. I own two other shades of these but both alternative formulas (including one of the Sheer Candy Lipsticks) so this is the first I tried with this type of finish. Therefore, it makes me very happy to say that I absolutely love YSL's Rouge Volupté Shines. It's creamy but perfectly pigmented. By that I mean that it has enough pigment to completely adapt the colour of lips but it doesn't apply like a mask such as, in comparison, MAC's Amplified Cream formula lipsticks. It didn't dry out my lips at all and made them, in overall, feel soft and buttery throughout the wear time. Yet, what really sold me with this product was, of course, the colour. Coral Intuitive 15 - a perfect peachy, coral shade that complimented my fair skin tone and I can imagine every other! It's bright but not bold with a lovely subtle shine that brings some dewiness to the face, a key ingredient for the perfect Summer look. The wear time is good considering the formula is very buttery and I still found evidence of the colour a good two to three hours later which I think is down to the subtle stain which is left on the lips after application. If you're after the perfect Summer shade and aren't afraid to spend a bit of extra cash (£25) then this is the one for you!

What's your favourite Summer lipstick? 

I'm back again with another Cosmetics Collection for you! This time it's about another favourite drugstore Make Up brand of mine, Soap and Glory. With it's stand out packaging that's cute, quirky and slightly pin-up, this really is a great brand that takes quality and appearance into a lot of consideration. I thought I would focus this post mainly on the make up side of S&G even though I know they're best known for their incredible bath and body products as well as their excellent skincare but don't worry I will be doing another post all about the products I own from their other collections too because I love it all. 

1. Lid Stuff Flawless Finish Eyeshadow in What's Nude £10 

For the incredible price, this beautiful eyeshadow quad is an absolute steal. I love the fact that it's made up mainly of mattes with only one shimmer shade as pretty much everyone other palette I own is glitter galore. The shadows are creamy and apply beautifully with an acclaimed eight hour wear which I don't think I could argue with. This is a great nudes palette which would be perfect for travel considering it has the four main neutral shades you'd ideally want. 

2. Kick Ass Concealer in Light £10 (full review here) 

A lovely concealer made up of three combat shades that are great for concealing those under eye circles and pesky blemishes. With a salmon pink cream that works a treat for brightening up dark under eyes, a yellow toned complexion concealer that covers up spots completely along with counteracting redness and a translucent powder that works great when setting the creams to ensure they won't budge. All of this is then efficiently fitted into a nifty looking compact that you could throw into your bag and be ready to face the day. 

3. Archery Eyebrow Pencil in Brownie Points £10 (full review here)

One of S&G most talked about Cosmetic products. This intuitive product combines both a wax crayon and a subtle coloured tint that are the perfect pair for creating either the natural brow or big bold bushy show stoppers that even Cara Delevigne would be jealous of. The felt-tip end means you can effectively brush on tiny little hairs to both add volume but still ensure your brows still look like, well brows. Then this is when the crayon comes in. A great consistency and excellent pigmentation which fills in the brows perfectly so you're all good to go! 

4. Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick £11

A brilliant and beautiful product. A mix of bronze, peach and gold hues that when swirled together on a fluffy brush creates the most gorgeous illuminated, pretty in peach colour that's perfect for Summer. The different segments look pretty in the pan and even prettier on the skin and you have the power to create any look you want. You decide what shades you'd like to be more predominant by focusing your brush on individual segments to achieve either a more bronzed, blushed or highlighted effect or if you'd prefer the wild card, like myself, just go to town on the colour wheel and see what gorgeous, pearlescent shade comes up. 

5. A Great Kisser Juicy Peach Lip Balm  £5

A lovely, moisturising lip balm that smells so much like peaches, I'm tempted to eat it. This literally melts on your mouth during application and is so nourishing once on thanks to the Mango Butter in the ingredients. The main thing I love about this balm is the sheer add of peachy colour that although is simple, acts as a gorgeous shade for an everyday Make Up look. 

6. Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick  in Nudist £8

A super glossy, lip lacquer in a stick form that gives Clinique's Chubby Sticks a run for their money. This is moisturising, perfectly pigmented and lasts well on the lips. Not to mention the gorgeous shade Nudist that although appears slightly brown in the bullet, is actually a beige-toned peach when applied. Think MAC's Shy Girl but glossier. I feel like everyone should have this in their collection so go and get it!

7. Super-Colour FabuLipstick in The Missing Pink £9 (full review here)

The perfect pinky-nude that plumps up the lips as well as giving a lovely finish. This really is a gorgeous colour which, along with the great limp pumping technology, nourishing Shea Butter and ultra-shine qualities, makes the perfect pout in one easy swipe.

What's your favourite Soap and Glory product?

It's the beginning of the week again! Which means it's time for another one of my Cosmetics Collection posts. Today I have for you a smaller collection but no less amazing as it features all three of the iconic Urban Decay palettes that are easily one (or three) of my favourite features in my whole collection. I will be posting full reviews and comparisons on all of these palettes in due course so if you find yourself wanting a little more of an in depth review, don't worry one is coming your way! So lets get cracking.

Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body £20 (very old review here) 

A beautiful highlighter that although is more shimmery then most, is a gorgeous accomplice for a night out. Once applied the skin appears illuminated although don't go with a heavy hand as so to avoid the disco-ball effect. I love the packaging as although it's bulky, it gives a nice representation of the product inside. It lasts well on the skin and a little bit really goes a long way. A nice justification for the high price tag.

Naked Skin Liquid Foundation £27 in 2.0 (review here)

A truly gorgeous foundation which is easily one of my favourite bases out there. I was a bit hesitant buying this at first as for one thing, I hadn't read any reviews before hand and also although Urban Decay are known for their excellent palettes, liners and setting sprays, foundation has never been a product I've heard much hype about. Luckily, my expectations were immediately exceeded for many reasons. The first being the great shade range, the colour I had matched my skin better then any other foundation I've tried. Secondly, it seriously feels weightless once applied, which is impressive considering it's an medium coverage with an easily build-able formula with a semi-matte finish. Lastly, the lasting power which was still visible, with minor imperfections, a good 14 hours after application. I've never had so many comments about my skin then when I'm wearing this foundation! 

Naked Eyeshadow Palette £37

I don't think I really need to say much when it comes to this palette. Probably one of the most talked about palettes on the beauty blogging scene and it's completely understandable why. Twelve beautiful shades mostly iridescent with a couple of mattes in a range of beautiful tertiary tones that will complement anyone. If you a want a Naked palette but are unsure on which one, this is definitely the one to opt for. I've only had it for a short while but already it's love. 

Favourite shades: Virgin, Sidecar, Smog. 

Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette £37 (featured in a FOTD here)

The first one I owned and probably my most worn. I love the shades in this and the easily blend able formulas and great colour pay-off are just a dream to work with. The thing I love almost the most about this palette is the excellent brush it comes with. It's a dream to pack on colour and blends beautifully, fitting in to the crease better then many of my petite crease brushes and creates a beautiful smokey eye look in seconds. 

Favourite shades: Half Baked, Suspect, YDK.

Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette £37

Urban Decay's newest addition to the trio. A beautiful rose-heud palette that although may not be to everyone's taste, is definitely the prettiest even if it's just to look at! Again, there's twelve gorgeous shades varying from shimmery, pearlescent to matte finishes. This neutrals palette is definitely a must have in ones Summer collection! With great staying-power, incredible blend-ability and no fall out, I really see little reason to not snap this up.

Favourite shades: Limit, Trick, Factory. 

So there's the round up of my Urban Decay Cosmetics Collection. I think next on my 'Things To Try' list is definitely the Glide-On 24/7 Eyeliners as I'm intrigued to see how good the staying-power really is!
